Purpose Of the Role:
To take ownership and accountability for assigned tasks, ensuring they are completed accurately and efficiently. To provide support across all TT activities within a collaborative team environment, demonstrating a proactive approach, a willingness to learn, and the ability to follow guidance effectively.
Responsibilities
- Operate handheld scanning devices efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain general housekeeping standards within the workplace.
- Perform manual handling tasks safely and in line with procedures.
- Assist SD drivers with their daily duties.
- Once competencies meet required standards, undertake training on MHE (Material Handling Equipment).
- Support LD drivers as needed.
- Progress to loading SD and LD trucks as skills and experience develop.
The ideal candidate will have
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling clear and effective interaction.
- Strong planning and organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges.
- High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accuracy.
- Effective time management, prioritising tasks to meet deadlines.
- Highly adaptable and able to thrive in changing environments.
- Confident, approachable, and able to build positive working relationships.
