Tasks

In this key position, you will, as Finance Manager, take full responsibility for the financial and administrative operations of Dachser Belgium. This includes the sites in Willebroek and Moeskroen, as well as the European Logistics and Food Logistics business lines. You ensure accurate budgeting, clear financial reporting, solid compliance and provide strategic support to management. You also lead a local finance team of around ten employees, coordinating their work and ensuring efficient execution of all financial processes.

Your role combines both strategic and operational responsibilities. You prepare and follow up on budgets and financial forecasts and ensure timely and accurate reporting to local management and the headquarters. You oversee correct tax filings and compliance with applicable legislation. In addition, you prepare audits, work closely with external auditors and continuously seek opportunities to optimize administrative processes and internal controls. You maintain professional relationships with banks, legal advisors and other external partners, making you a reliable point of contact both inside and outside the organisation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics or Accountancy, or equivalent experience
• At least 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in a financial management role
• Excellent knowledge of accounting, taxation and financial analysis
• Experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP) and advanced MS Office skills (Excel)
• Language skills: fluent Dutch and French, very good English
• Proven leadership experience and strong communication skills
