Warehouse Operator

As a Transit Terminal Operator, you will work in the cross-dock warehouse at DACHSER in Waddinxveen, part of our Logistics Centre Rotterdam in the Netherlands. Together with your colleagues, you make sure that goods are loaded, unloaded and processed safely, accurately and on time.

You will work with an electric pallet truck (EPT) and a handheld scanner. As our logistics operation runs around the clock, you may work different shifts depending on the operation and your availability.

Your main tasks are:

  • Loading and unloading trailers and swap bodies.
  • Moving pallets with an electric pallet truck (EPT).
  • Scanning goods with a handheld scanner.
  • Placing goods in the correct location in the warehouse.
  • Checking whether goods are properly packed.
  • Reporting damage or other issues to your supervisor.

 

Working hours

You work 40 hours per week. You can work different shifts, depending on the operation and your availability.

 

Possible shifts include:

  • Morning shift
  • Afternoon/evening shift
  • Night shift

  • A gross monthly salary starting from €2,614 based on full-time employment for employees aged 21 and over. Including holiday allowance and a 13th-month payment, this amounts to €3,040.95 gross per month.
