Role: Logistics Operative Transit Terminal
Contract: Full time permanent
Hours: 14:00-22:00
Location: Rathcoole Dublin

 

Purpose Of The Role:

Two excellent opportunities have opened up at our Dublin Branch in the role of Logistics Operative. The successful applicant will be responsible for loading, unloading, moving of pallets, house-keeping and general Transit Terminal activity

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general housekeeping duties in the Transit Terminal
  • Loading of rigids and trailers
  • Unloading of rigids and trailers
  • Moving pallets from Inbound to the correct tracks
  • Processing of Inbound and reporting any discrepancies via the system
  • Perform other related duties as required
  • Ensure adherence to the health and safety processes

 

Skills & Experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience within an MHE operational environment or similar
  • Experience of working in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Counter balance Forklift Licence required
  • Good level of written and spoken English
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to deal with problems and solve them effectively
  • Work well either individually or as part of a team
  • Manual handling certified an advantage
  • Ability to work on own initiative and adapt working day around the issues that arise
  • Strong IT skills
