Tasks
- Design, build and maintain automated test suites for our applications, especially for end-to-end and regression testing.
- Develop test strategies together with developers, product owners and architects, with a clear focus on automation-first quality.
- Create and execute manual and exploratory tests where they add value, especially for new features, edge cases and user journeys.
- Identify, document and track defects, support root-cause analysis and work closely with development teams until issues are resolved.
- Define and maintain test plans, test cases and test data based on requirements, business processes and technical changes.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and help us make quality checks part of our regular delivery flow.
- Support teams in making our software more testable, reliable and transparent.
- Contribute to new quality standards, tools and ways of working in an international development environment.
- Work in an agile setup and collaborate closely with developers, product owners, architects and other stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Experience in software testing, test automation or quality engineering.
- Practical knowledge of test automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress or comparable frameworks.
- Good understanding of modern software development, ideally with technologies such as Angular, Java, Spring Boot and GitLab CI/CD.
- Analytical thinking, root-cause orientation and a structured approach to software quality.
- Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Curiosity, initiative and the willingness to challenge existing processes in a constructive way.
- Motivation to help shape a quality engineering approach that is still evolving.
- Good knowledge in English.
