Tasks
- Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines and resources, focusing on logistical solutions
- Lead project execution from initiation to completion, ensuring projects are on time, within scope and budget
- Dive deep into IT aspects of logistical challenges, understanding systems and technologies to optimize logistics and supply chain processes
- Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, communicating project status, risks and issues
- Coordinate and allocate resources across multiple projects, ensuring teams are adequately staffed and equipped
- Identify opportunities to improve project management processes, implementing best practices for enhanced delivery and performance
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an IT Project Manager with a track record of delivering complex IT projects
- Strong understanding of IT, esp. software development and technology solutions, with a focus on logistics and supply chain management
- Ability to translate logistical needs into effective IT project plans and deliverables
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate issues and develop solutions
- Degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field; PMP, PRINCE2, or other project management certifications are a plus
- Familiarity with the logistics or supply chain industry is advantageous
- Fluent in written and spoken English
