Tasks

 

  • Development and maintenance of Java-based backend applications using the Spring framework
  • Engage in every stage of the development lifecycle, from defining requirements to delivering demos and final products
  • Partner closely with our business specialists to craft the best technical and functional solutions for new features and enhancements
  • Design and implementation of RESTful web services and APIs
  • Database design and optimization
  • Integration of external systems and services
  • Carrying out code reviews and ensuring code quality
  • Collaborating with other development teams and stakeholders to understand requirements and develop technical solutions

Qualifications

 

  • Academic degree in IT / Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • Extensive experience in the development of Java-based backend applications
  • Good knowledge of the Spring Framework, especially Spring Boot
  • Experience with the development of RESTful web services and APIs
  • Solid knowledge of the use of databases (SQL, Hibernate and JPA)
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and messaging systems (e.g. Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ) is an advantage
  • Experience with OpenShift desirable
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a structured way of working
  • Good knowledge of English and the ability to collaborate successfully in an agile environment
