Rigid Driver
Purpose Of The Role:
This is a multi-drop role completing 12 to 20 deliveries / collections per day depending on volume and distance.
The person will be responsible for handling freight in a safe, efficient manner in accordance with the Drivers Handbook, Company Quality Procedures and Statutory requirements, in the most cost effective way servicing Main Carriage duties between the Dachser Ireland sites. As a representative of the Company the successful applicant will be required to act in a professional manner at all times, ensuring our customers receive excellent service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that schedules are adhered to and delivery times are met.
- Accurate completion of all required paperwork and company hand held devices.
- Ensuring compliance with all Health and Safety, Road Safety, Quality and ADR requirements.
- Maintain a safe environment, report any health & safety incidents or concerns immediately.
- Maintain ADR training and all other relevant certification.
- Perform all other duties deemed appropriate, necessary, required, or directed by management
Skills & Experience:
- Current ADR licence
- C Class Licence
- Current Digital driving card & driver qualification card
- Communicate effectively in English written and verbal
- Attention to detail
- Problem solver
- 2 years experience in a similar role
