Tasks
- Working closely with the responsible Key Account Managers, you will provide intensive support for a defined portfolio of our corporate key account customers.
- You will act as the central interface to our global branches and be responsible for reviewing, managing, and coordinating international logistics tenders across all modes of transport.
- As a member of internal project teams, you will be actively involved in strategically relevant customer projects and promote long-term, partnership-based cooperation.
- By regularly preparing group analyses, quality reports, and executive summaries, as well as maintaining the master data, you will always keep an eye on the big picture.
- You will independently prepare presentation materials for customer appointments and also take care of the subsequent follow-up.
- With your proactive and interculturally sensitive communication, you will create clear connections both internally and externally, ensure an optimal flow of information, and make a decisive contribution to the success of our projects and long-term customer loyalty.
Qualifications
- You have successfully completed an apprenticeship as a shipping and logistics services clerk, have business management training with sales experience, or have a university degree.
- You have a well-founded expertise in international transport logistics and/or operational experience in the field of road and/or air and/or sea freight.
- You are confident in using Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Your approach to work is analytical, conceptual, and customer-oriented at the same time, you think innovatively and are process- and solution-oriented, enabling you to keep track of priorities even in dynamic situations.
- Very good written and spoken English skills are a prerequisite, as you will be working in an intercultural environment.
- You are characterized by empathy, a high level of commitment, and initiative, and you enjoy professional communication with internal and external stakeholders across national borders.
