Tasks
- Worldwide support and further development of the central and decentralized network infrastructure for LAN (L2 + L3), WLAN and the DataCenter network
- Planning and operation for our on-premise network with switches, routers and access points worldwide
- Managing the hardware with monitoring and administration tools
- Service handling with our IT service providers
- Participation in IT projects in close cooperation with other teams
- Second-level support and central point of contact for all network infrastructure issues
- Ongoing optimization and expansion of our global network
Qualifications
- Completed studies in computer science or comparable training in the field of IT
- Ideally practical experience in the planning and daily operation of network infrastructures
- Knowledge of routing, switching and wireless technologies
- Knowledge of automation languages such as Ansible or Terraform desirable
- Certificates such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE are an advantage
- Service orientation and a high level of commitment
- Good knowledge of English
