Tasks

 

  • Worldwide support and further development of the central and decentralized network infrastructure for LAN (L2 + L3), WLAN and the DataCenter network
  • Planning and operation for our on-premise network with switches, routers and access points worldwide
  • Managing the hardware with monitoring and administration tools
  • Service handling with our IT service providers
  • Participation in IT projects in close cooperation with other teams
  • Second-level support and central point of contact for all network infrastructure issues
  • Ongoing optimization and expansion of our global network

Qualifications

 

  • Completed studies in computer science or comparable training in the field of IT
  • Ideally practical experience in the planning and daily operation of network infrastructures
  • Knowledge of routing, switching and wireless technologies
  • Knowledge of automation languages such as Ansible or Terraform desirable
  • Certificates such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE are an advantage
  • Service orientation and a high level of commitment
  • Good knowledge of English
