Finance Accounting Manager

Tasks

General Accounting, Reporting, and work flow

  • Oversee all finance operations in Indonesia, including full sets of book, statutory reports, management reporting, cash management, budget, forecast, analysis, etc;
  • Prepare the company annual budget and control analysis;
  • Funding management and control;
  • Accurate & timely submission of financial & management reports;
  • Provide monthly financial report and information/analysis on key issues to the management;
  • Assist in development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department;
  • Implement quality assurance, process management and internal controls, policies and procedures; make recommendations on various areas for improvement;

 

Cash Flow Management

  • Cost analysis and operation expense control in Indonesia;
  • Monitor and Forecast cash flow positions;
  • Ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements;
  • Responsible for  financial planning, forecasting and budgeting;
  • Monitor Accounts Receivables and follow up with Customers for better cash flow management;

 

Taxation

  • Ensure all of the company activities are comply to local laws;
  • Give advice on Tax issues to stakeholder;
  • Give Support to the Tax Authority with a good manner and on timely basis;
  • Ensure all tax inquiries are met and support an successful audit process;

 

Collaboration and Relations

  • Coordinate with Regional office for business operation issues;
  • Coordinate with external parties including governments, auditors, etc;
  • Play a critical role in providing business decision support to the operational management team;
  • Collaborate with other department to support overall department goals, create financial plans, and forecasts aligned with business objectives;
  • Act as a primary Finance Business Partner to Sales, Marketing, and Operations departments;
  • Deep involvement in commercial strategic discussion and activity;
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with operational teams, clients, and suppliers to resolve financial and contractual queries;

 

Leadership

  • Lead and develop/train finance  team as well as ensuring the optimal structure is in place;
  • Ensure that work is properly allocated, smoothly operate and completed in a timely and accurate manner, handling staff development and supervision;
  • Develop and implement relevant KPIs to monitor team performance and celebrate key milestones in financial operations;
  • Actively evaluate, recommend, and implement new policies, procedures, and systems to maximize company efficiency and team productivity;
  • Any other additional task and duties required by the Managing Director;

Qualifications

 

  •    Bachelor or Master Degree holder in Accounting & Financial Management or equivalent or related disciplines;
  •    More than 10 years of professional working experience with at least 3 years in managerial level, Prefereably with industry experience in international forwarding company;
  •    Familiar with Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards (PSAK) and their convergence with IFRS;
  •    Expertise in local tax compliance, including Corporate Income Tax (PPh) and Value Added Tax (PPN/VAT) regulations;
  •    Proficient in Transfer Pricing documentation;
  •    Proven strategic planning experience at the management level
  •    Fluent English both in written and speaking;
  •   Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills
  •   Good Microsoft office operation skill;
  •   SAP System knowledge is a plus
