Thomas Dachser founded the transport company DACHSER in Kempten, Germany in 1930. In doing so, he laid the corner stone for a global success story. Since then, DACHSER has developed into one of the world's leading logistic providers. Our business model comprises international transports, intercontinental air and sea freight logistics, warehousing and customized services in two business units – Road Logistics and Air & Sea Logistics – whereby the focus in our region is on the latter. Both units consolidate consignments across all modes of transport and perform a wide range of tasks that optimize our customers' value chains.

What began with an idea, courage, and a truck has now grown into a worldwide endeavor. This development is based not least on the values that still define us today. Road Logistics with its unique European transport network includes two lines of business – European Logistics for industrial goods and Food Logistics for food products.

DACHSER Air & Sea Logistics operates in a global network with a presence at numerous locations of our own. We handle all logistical issues concerning the modes of transport air and sea.

DACHSER Air & Sea Logistics is currently developing into a global network provider with clearly defined structures and innovative services to pursue a sustainable growth strategy. We are therefore looking for support worldwide in a wide range of areas such as product development, sales, project management, digitalization or process optimization/standardization in the field of air and sea freight.
