Tasks

  • Manage the full debtors function, including invoicing, statements, reconciliations, and collections.

  • Ensure accurate billing aligned with freight files, tariffs, and operational charges.

  • Follow up on outstanding payments and maintain age analysis within company targets.

  • Resolve billing queries with internal teams, clients, and service providers.

  • Monitor credit limits and ensure compliance with company credit policies.

  • Prepare weekly and monthly debtors reports for management.

  • Liaise closely with operations, finance, and customer service teams to ensure accurate financial data.

  • Maintain professional communication with clients regarding overdue accounts.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Matric (essential).  
  • 3–5 years’ experience in a Debtors role within the freight forwarding/logistics industry.
  • SAP experience (highly advantageous).
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and financial systems.
  • Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
