Tasks

Assist with daily stock counts and cycle counts

Help update inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS)

Check stock accuracy and report discrepancies

Support labeling, tagging, and organizing inventory

Help inspect incoming goods for quantity and quality

Assist in preparing outgoing orders (picking, packing, documentation)

Verify delivery notes, invoices, and packing lists
-
Support coordination between warehouse staff and drivers
-
Observe and support warehouse layout optimization

Help maintain cleanliness and safety standards

Assist in monitoring stock movement and storage conditions

Learn how to operate basic warehouse tools (barcode scanners, handheld devices)

Enter data into inventory or ERP systems

Prepare simple reports (stock levels, damaged goods, daily movements)

File and organize warehouse documents

Support communication between warehouse, procurement, and logistics teams
Qualifications

Matric certificate with passes in Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy
-
Basic understanding of business, accounting, or computer applications (advantageous)

Willingness to learn logistics and warehouse operations
-
BCom in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Operations, or Accounting

Understanding of inventory control, stock management, and business processes

Exposure to ERP/WMS systems through coursework is an advantage

Computer literacy (Excel, Word, Outlook)
