Tasks

Assist with processing sea import shipments

Capture and update shipment details in internal systems

Prepare and check import documentation (Bills of Lading, invoices, packing lists)

Communicate with shipping lines, depots, and internal teams

Track and trace containers and monitor vessel arrivals

Assist with customs documentation preparation

Follow up on cargo availability, releases, and unpack notifications

Maintain accurate and complete shipment files

Support the team with general admin, filing, and data entry

Assist with costing and billing preparation

Ensure compliance with company and customs procedures
Qualifications and Experience

Matric / Grade 12 (essential)

Maths Literacy or Mathematics (advantageous)

Basic computer literacy (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Any short course in logistics, freight, or customs (advantageous but not required)

Experience required 1 - 3 year in admin, logistics, or freight

Exposure to customs processes is an advantage but not mandatory

Experience with data capturing or document handling is helpful
