Tasks
- Processing of Air import shipments
- Capture and update shipment data in internal system
- Prepare and check import documetns (AWBs, invoices, packing lists)
- Communicate with arilines, agents and internal teams
- Track and trace incoming shipments
- Assist with customs documentation preparation
- Ensure files are complete and compliant
- Follow up on cargo availability and release
- Maintain accurate records for billing and costing
Qualifications and Experience
- Matric / Grade 12 (essential)
- Maths Literacy or Mathematics (advantageous)
- Basic computer literacy (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Exposure to airfreight or import processes is a bonus
- Experience with data capturing or document handling is helpful
- Familiarity with airlines systems or cargo terminals is an advantage but not essential
